DROUGHT IN BIHAR

I took these photos today..from a VGA camera...at RASALPUR...a small village...30 kms south of PATNA......i hope...u can see....the cracks in the field....and a river...which is almost dry......clearly showing .......absence of rain and the coming of drought....The question my friend is not that when the govt. will declare it DROUGHT AFFECTED REGION........ But the question is.....this is third year in a row that this region...got under drought...3 years and no rain....People survive though cause the soil is fertile.... What do u think is the major reason behind DROUGHT??? what is the solution to it??? I think it is the rapid deforestation.......extension of cities is putting pressure on the nature... But still why are our farmers still dependent on rain??? why cant we have new methods here in india??? its 63 years now.....and our farmers are still living a life full of hunger.... next time you eat...remember the family of the man who produced this food is hungry.....think about it??? cause if u think...then u can step out and do something too
